"We had an amazing experience at Friendswood Scoop Shop! The service was friendly, the atmosphere of the shop is a perfect throw-back to old fashioned ice cream parlors! And the ice cream was incredible!! The owner makes all of her ice cream flavors from scratch and every single one we have tried has been amazing. The scoops were also huge! And I loved that they let me split the scoop to try more than one flavor. Also, don’t forget the homemade waffle cones - so so so good!! We will be dedicated return customers!! I cannot wait to try all of their flavors!!"

"I have been wanting to try this place since it opened but something always got in the way and then I saw on their Instagram page that they had Spumoni. It’s my favorite ice cream and not found often in this area. I made time to try it and it’s delicious. I hope it’s regularly in their rotation."

"I drive by this place 5 days out of the week, before it was even a ice cream shop. I got to witness the family work on this business, literally physical labor, over a period of time. I've wondered for quite a while what it was like, and finally took my girls in there during fall break. They really did a outstanding job on this cool little spot! We each got mostly different flavors. Mustang blue, cookie sandwich, almond Joy, butter pecan? I can't remember them all. But we enjoyed them, and the pumpkins added great atmosphere outside. We played with the pretend ice cream stand, and took advantage of the photo opportunities it held. If you havent been here, I recommend going! The staff was super friendly also. Just know, if you pay in cash, they dont have a way to give you change. So be prepared for that, or walk in with a debit/credit card! Thank you all, God Bless you, Myshell"

"We unexpectedly broke down right across from The Scoop Shop, and ended up stranded for quite a while. We were so thankful that The Scoop Shop helped bring some positivity to an otherwise stressful situation. A young employee named Corbin was incredibly kind and thoughtful while we waited for our tow truck. He made sure I could charge my phone and checked in to see if we needed anything, which meant a lot during a stressful moment. The entire team was friendly and welcoming, and the shop has such a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. The ice cream was great too. As we were leaving later, we noticed Corbin was one of the last employees still there carefully closing up and taking care of everything. It was clear he takes pride in his work. Thank you to Corbin and the whole team for their kindness. It truly made a difficult evening much easier."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I absolutely love the Friendswood Scoop Shop it’s easily become my go-to spot for ice cream. The small-batch, homemade ice cream is always fresh, locally sourced, and delicious. The vibe is warm and nostalgic. The building feels like a cozy, restored old-house, and the decor gives it that classic small town charm. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and every visit feels like a treat especially with their rotating flavors and fun seasonal specials. Pretty cool that they use Froberg's strawberries. If you’re looking for a sweet escape or just a chill place to hang out, I highly recommend dropping by Friendswood Scoop Shop!"

"As a former chef, nothing is more inviting than stepping into a establishment and immediately getting a warm inviting "Hello and welcome in" from the employee's. My son ordered a small-medium size of the milk chocolate ice cream. I was thoroughly impressed with how generous the scoops he received as they packed it firmly into the cup. I ordered the butter pecan Ice cream in the smallest cup available. And the employee packed my cup nicely as well with another generous portion of scoops. My son had a few dollars left on gift card that covered some of the cost. I covered the remaining balance, but with the amount ice cream we received each I was impressed with the cost for what we received. I tried the milk chocolate and it was good, smooth tasting, nice consistency and the richness of chocolate wasn't to over bearing on the palate. The butter pecan had a really good flavor, and tasted really good as well. I really enjoyed the fresh pecans clusters in brown sugar that melted on the tongue. Along with that savory buttery Ice cream taste. I noticed they had homemade waffle cones, which were calling my name lol. So I will definitely be back to try one of those. Definitely support this local shop as the customer service was great!! Plenty of seating, and really flavorful Ice cream."

"I first tried this ice cream shop in Fall of 2025 and thought it was delicious but was curious how their rotating flavors would work out. After going a few more times, I can confidently say you won't be disappointed by their offerings. They use local suppliers, which keeps ingredients fresh and the flavors, seasonal. I also appreciate they have quite a few areas for kids to play."
